Warehouse Manager – to £35K per annum – Hatfield

We are working with a well-established Blue Chip Logistics company based in the Hertfordshire/ North London area.

The company is going from strength to strength and is looking for additional staff to maintain its growth momentum, including a bright and enthusiastic warehouse manager.

We are therefore looking to speak to forward thinking Warehouse Managers with excellent team leadership and management skills and a track record of delivering success through change management processes.

• Salary up to £35,000 per annum.
• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with some weekend work required

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of operatives, supervisors and team leaders
• Running of the specific department on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Leading and ensuring the team achieve performance KPI’s and targets on time and in full whilst ensuring full compliance with all operational standards and specifications
• Engage and motivate all colleagues to be their best at all time to deliver excellent standards of service to our customers
• Set clear goals, objectives, pace and develop a site performance improvement plan linked to the overall strategy to drive performance
• Implement a new and better way of working
• Liaising with suppliers and clients
• Take responsibility for the hiring of operatives and their health and safety and lead by example in order to ensure consistent compliance
