• Working pattern 5 days out of 7, including some weekends

Shift Times

• 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Experience managing large teams of 150+ people in logistics or home delivery.

About the role

Lead transport and distribution operations at a premium supermarket logistics hub in Greenford. You will report to the Transport Operations Manager and ensure deliveries run safely, legally and on time.

Main responsibilities

• Transport operations – Manage dispatch schedules, driver allocations and delivery windows.
• Safety and compliance – Ensure driver hours, tachographs, vehicle checks and transport legislation are followed.
• Team management – Lead briefings, manage attendance and absence, and motivate drivers and transport staff.
• Customer service – Resolve delivery issues quickly and maintain high service standards.
• Performance and KPIs – Monitor driver performance, fuel efficiency and vehicle damage.

What you need

• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leader experience.
• Background in transport, multi-drop delivery, FMCG or high-volume logistics.
• Strong people-management and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of driver hours, vehicle safety and transport compliance.
• IT skills, including Transport Management Systems (TMS) and spreadsheets.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends.
