HGV 2 DRIVER

We are looking for Class 2 drivers in Merton to join our team. Please see more details below:

Job description

We pay our drivers £18 per hour over all shifts for a minimum of 40 hours per week, however some of our drivers can earn £864 for doing 48 hour week and £990 if they do 55 hour week
£18 is the standard rate for all hours worked
Working day is until the deliveries are finished which is reflected in the drivers wages
Drivers work a 6 on 2 off rota
Routes can be 2 runs or just the one run per day
Most deliveries are roll on roll off in cages, however some deliveries are delivered in bags( if the route is all bag deliveries a porter is put with the driver to assist)
Routes start at various times, 6am,10am,12 noon, 14pm,17pm
30 days holiday per year
Our trucks are mostly 18 Tonne but have some 15 Tonne, 12 Tonne, 7.5 Tonne. Doesn’t matter what the driver drives he still gets £18 per hour
Most of our deliveries are in the London area however we do some in Sussex, Kent, Surrey & Heathrow area
Transport office is manned 24 hours a day 7 days a week so there is always someone in the office to help the drivers if there is a problem
