- Van Driver – Grocery deliveries to customer homes
- Greenford
- £15.07 per hour plus accrued holiday pay
- Extra 93p hour for attendance and punctuality bonus.
- Am shifts – start times between 04.30am and 06.00am (limited availability)
- Pm shifts – start times between 11:30AM and 12:30PM (most available)
- Weekend availability required.
- Previous Grocery delivery experience preferred
A leading food delivery company is seeking experienced van drivers to deliver groceries to customers on behalf of a high- end supermarket chain. The depot is located in Greenford, West London. Three minutes from Greenford Tube Station on the Central Line.
The Role
- Delivering online grocery orders direct to customers
- This includes responsibility for the accurate management of paperwork and any items returned by customers.
- Providing excellent customer service.
Other responsibilities include.
- Completing accurate vehicle safety checks
- Managing customer questions and any complaints in a professional manner
- Manual handling will be involved, including the handling and transportation of alcoholic drinks and pork meat products
Requirements
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements.
- Must have held a UK Drivers License for a minimum of 12 months
- The license must enable you to drive a manual vehicle.
- You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no major endorsements
- You must be a good communicator and understand what great customer service is
- An enthusiastic and friendly personality will help you to progress in this role
- Previous delivery van driver experience is desirable but not essential for the role.
- You must be willing to handle alcohol and meat products
- For this role you must be available every Monday and Friday including weekends

- £15.07 per hour plus accrued holiday pay.

Shifts
- Am shifts 04.30am – 06.00am, Pm shifts 11.30am-14.00 start times.
- Friday through to Tuesday are the busiest days needing the most support.
- You will be expected to be available for weekends.
