Weekend On Call Consultant – up to £40K per annum – Potters Bar

Salary: between £30k and £40K  per annum dependant on experience

Purpose of role

Our client is a busy Driver Recruitment Agency based in Potters Bar, offering services to the transport & logistics sector on a 24-hour basis. The agency now requires an “On Call” Consultant to lead the administration and operations of the business primarily during the weekend. This person must be competent in dealing with enquiries from drivers and customers in a professional and prompt manner 4 days a week including weekends.

Hours and work patterns

This job will be based in the office and and the working hours will be as follows:

• Friday 9am – 8pm
• Saturday 8am – 8pm
• Sunday 8am – 8pm
• Monday 8am to 8pm

Main Duties

Overseeing the operational management of the agency including;

• Customer and driver enquiries
• The management and implementation of key client schedules and plans
• General administration and checking of drivers details
• The management and resolution of driver issues including “no shows” or additional driver requests
• General administration and reporting as required

For this role you must be confident, sociable, good attention to detail, organised, able to operate under pressure. You must have at least 6 months experience within any office environment and have an excellent telephone manner. Previous experience gained from working within either a recruitment or transport and logistics environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
