Site Operations Manager:

Charged with overseeing a designated site’s entire operational landscape, the Site Operations Manager holds a pivotal role in orchestrating key facets, from staffing to customer relations. Integral to achieving financial targets, ensuring stellar customer service, and sustaining operational efficiency, this role is multifaceted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service and Development:
  • Supervise timely delivery from the customer order book.
  • Address concerns, gather feedback, and spot growth opportunities.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and the team.
  • Understand evolving demand requirements through customer engagement.

Personnel Management:

  • Optimise staffing levels and manage diverse personnel.
  • Oversee site and customer-based staff, incorporating hiring and development.
  • Foster a positive work environment, emphasising community engagement.

Facilities and Assets:

  • Implement safety programs and fortify security measures.
  • Safeguard company-owned assets.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and maintain relevant records.

Policy and Procedures:

  • Uphold established policies and ensure compliance with standards.

Optimise Site Performance:

  • Scrutinise and forecast monthly financial statements.
  • Navigate key performance indicators, optimizing staffing and productivity.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.

Purchasing and Project Management:

  • Coordinate purchasing activities for streamlined procurement.
  • Implement project management strategies for seamless execution.

Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
  • Develop and deploy effective safety programs.
  • Monitor equipment conditions and supervise necessary repairs.

Role Attributes:

  • Education, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Educated to degree level.
  • 3-5 years of site operations experience.
  • Proficient in monthly forecasting and annual planning.
  • Advantageous Project Management experience.
  • Preferred knowledge of operations and logistics industry.
  • Proficiency with financial statements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
