HGV 2 DRIVER

We are looking for Class 2 drivers in Reading to join our team. Please see more details below:

Job description

• We pay our drivers £17 per hour over all shifts for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• £17 is the standard rate for all hours worked
• Working day is until the deliveries are finished which is reflected in the drivers wages
• Drivers work a 6 on 2 off rota
• Routes can be 2 runs or just the one run per day
• Most deliveries are roll on roll off in cages, however some deliveries are delivered in bags (if the route is all bag deliveries a porter is put with the driver to assist)
• Routes start at various times, 6am,10am,12 noon, 14pm, 17pm
• Transport office is manned 24 hours a day 7 days a week so there is always someone in the office to help the drivers if there is a problem
