HGV Class 1 Driver
A leading haulier supporting the retail clothing and grocery sector is seeking experienced and enthusiastic HGV class 1 drivers to join its busy transport depot located in Greenford, West London on an ongoing basis.
The Role
Delivering alcoholic beverages to stores owned by a well known premium branded supermarket chain. You will also on the odd occasion be expected to undertake some HGV Class 2 work delivering clothing to a popular and well known chain of retail outlets.
Job description
This will be primarily cage work to no more than 5 locations per shift
Key Requirements
- HGV Class 1 Driver (but you must be flexible and willing to do some HGV Class 2 work too paid at the HGV Class 1 rate.
- We prefer drivers who have good flexibility regarding start times
- You must have a valid UK HGV drivers license.
- Up to date UK CPC Card and Digi Card
- At least one 1 year work experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver in the UK
- Minimum Infringements
- No more than 6 penalty points on your license and no major endorsements
- Only PAYE will be considered
Key Benefits and shift times
- Pay Rate per hour – Monday to Friday = £18, Saturday = £19, Sunday = £20
- Minimum 8 hours paid
- Paid Directly by the agency – no umbrella costs.
