HGV 1 DRIVER
We are looking for experienced Class 1 drivers to work out of our depot in Newmarket. The ideal candidate will have over 1 years experience in Class 1 driving. The ideal candidate will also have a can do attitude towards work and will be happy to do what is requested of them on a day to day basis.
Job Details
- £18 Mon-Fri 06:00 – 18:00
- £18.50 Mon-Fri 18:00 – 06:00 for nights
- £19.00 – £20.00 Saturday all hours
- £19.00 – £21.00 Sunday including bank holidays
- Weekly pay
Duties
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Inspect trucks before and after each trip, reporting any mechanical issues or damages
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to co-ordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Experience
- Valid drivers license with no more that 6 points
- Valid UK Tacho and CPC card
- Proven experience as a Class 1 driver
- Good time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
