£15.32 per hour or £183.84 per day including holiday pay

Redhill near Crawley – RH1 6HW

Full Time – 12 hours per shift

4 days on 4 days off work pattern

A national water drainage company is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Field Supervisors to join its field based operations team located in Redhill near Crawley in Sussex.

The Role

You will be expected to travel to and from several field sites located within a 20 mile radius of RH1, overseeing the company’s tanker fleet operation. You will be responsible for making sure that the onsite water tanker fleet is properly supervised, operated and maintained. This includes managing and advising the drivers to ensure that they operate their vehicles and any site equipment in a compliant manner, eliminating any risks to health and safety and project delivery.

This role is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• To oversee the daily operations of the site water tanker fleet
• To oversee the safe use of any site equipment
• To conduct mitigation audits to ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards
• To report and document compliance status and any discrepancies
• To coordinate activity and advise team members and drivers to ensure efficient and effective site operations

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably within water drainage or a related industry
• Strong understanding of compliance and auditing processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must hold a valid and clean UK driving licence as you will be provided transport to enable you to get to various sites on your shift.
• Must live within a 20 mile radius of Crawley (RH1)

Shift Patterns

• 4 days on 4days off including weekends
• Day Shift is 6am to 6pm
• Night Shift is 6pm to 6am
• We need 5 supervisors to work days and 5 supervisors to work nights

• £15.32 per hour including holiday pay (£183.84 per day)
